RDPR Minister K.S. Eshwarappa has come in support of Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, who has been facing strong criticism from the Opposition parties for his comments on the recent murder in Bengaluru.

Speaking to presspersons in Shivamogga on Thursday, Mr. Eshwarappa said the Home Minister had made the initial statement about the murder based on preliminary information. “Later he withdrew the statement and also apologised for it. What’s wrong with it”, he said. He brushed aside the comments of the Congress leaders on the issue stating, “their job is to criticise the government”.

Earlier in the case of a rape in Mysuru, the Home Minister had expressed his feelings. “Congress people do not know how to express feelings. But when we express our feelings, they find fault with that”, he said.
