At least 10 people, including four children, suffered injuries when a street dog bit them in a rage.
The dog ran through Mustaidpura, biting all those who came in its way.
Some victims went to the Bidar City Municipal Council office and complained to commissioner B. Basappa.
They said that there was a surge in the number of stray dogs and dog bite incidents were common. CMC member M. Nabi, who accompanied them, asked the officers to take up fool proof measures to contain the dog menace.
Veterinary doctors were examining whether the dog was rabid, CMC officials said. Mr. Basappa said the CMC would soon implement a dog control programme.
