D.K.Ravi's family boycott Tumakuru GP polls

The family members of deceased IAS officer, D.K. Ravi in Doddakoppalu village in Kunigal taluk in Tumakuru district have boycotted the Gram Panchayat polls on Tuesday.

D.K. Ravi's parents, Gowramma, Kariyappa and Ravi's brother, D.K. Ramesh and his wife did not cast their votes in the elections which was held today in Tumakuru.

D.K. Ramesh said that "they did not cast their votes in the elections demanding justice for Ravi's death who died mysteriously in his flat in Bengaluru."

Meanwhile, President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, Dr. G. Parameshwara made an appeal to the family members of D.K. Ravi to cast their votes and said that the Government stands by their family.

D.K. Ravi was a student of Siddhartha School in Tumakuru.
