‘Create awareness on ayurveda’

May 10, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - Hassan:

Students of ayurveda have the responsibility of spreading awareness about this system and instil confidence about the effectiveness of its medicine among public, said K.S. Ravindranath, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, here on Saturday during the graduation ceremony of the SDM College of Ayurveda.

“You should continue to update your knowledge even after obtaining the degree. After completing graduation, you all should consider yourselves as ambassadors of ayurveda. You should go to villages and take up research to widen the scope of ayurveda medicines,” Dr. Ravindranath said.

Sixty students were presented BAMS degree certificates, and 90 got PG certificates.
