Teachers will be conducting five counselling sessions for students to help them do well in SSLC examinations, N. Chandre Gowda, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, said at Karnataka College in Bidar on Tuesday. He was speaking at a workshop for teachers to improve SSLC results.
One of the first steps towards this is to eradicate the fear of the examination from the minds of students. We are not only going to conduct several mock tests, but also help them get over it through counselling, he said.
Teachers will also keep regular tabs on the performance of children by talking to their parents, he said.
