Conference of entrepreneurs on Feb. 6

Infosys founder N.R. Narayana Murthy, the founder-chairman of GMR Group Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao, the president and chairman of Sparta Group LLC Gururaj Deshpande would be among the speakers at the annual conference of entrepreneurs ‘TiECon Hubli-2015’ scheduled on February 6.

Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, the president of the Hubballi chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs Gautam Ostwal, event convener Sandeep Bidasaria and media committee chairman Prasad Roodagi said that Mr. Murthy and Mr. Rao would be sharing their experiences with entrepreneurs during the last session of the conference.

Prof. Roodagi said that around 1,000 delegates from across the State are expected to take part in the one-day conference.

‘Destination Hubballi’

Prof. Roodagi said that Mr. Deshpande, Dinesh Gundurao, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Pralhad Joshi, MP, Aravind Bellad, MLA, will take part in the inaugural session of the conference.

This will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Destination Hubballi’.

The session will mainly focus on the growth of entrepreneurship in North Karnataka and its contribution to social development, Mr Ostwal said.

Prof. Roodagi said that the organisation was conducting ‘hand-holding’ programmes for young entrepreneurs.
