CM Siddaramaiah and Governor congratulate scientists

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Governor Vajubhai Vala have congratulated the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation for the success of the Mars Orbiter Mission.

Terming it as a red letter day, the CM in his message has said, “We have conquered the Moon. And, now we have approached the Mars. After the most successful Chandrayaan, it is the story of success again for Mangalyaan.”

“I congratulate the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation for their glorious achievement in re-writing history with thumping success of the India’s Indigenous Mars Orbiter Mission in its first attempt and becoming a Global Leader in the World of Space Science,” Mr Siddaramaiah has said.

In a separate message, the Governor has said that the scientists have achieved a marvellous feat in Mars Orbit Insertion (MOI) mission in its maiden attempt. “With this achievement India has entered into the list of few privileged countries of the world. It is a moment of pride for all Indian nationals. On this occasion I heartily congratulate ISRO, its Chairman Dr. K Radhakrishnan and his fellow scientists for the success in India’s first interplanetary mission. The achievement will be written in the golden words in the annals of Indian space history.”
