B. Sriramulu, BJP State vice-president, has accused Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy of pursuing vindictive politics. To questions from presspersons here on Thursday, Mr. Sriramulu referred to the attack by Janata dal (S) workers on the house of BJP MLA in Hassan and also the government adopting an adamant stand in entrusting the controversial audio tape episode to a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for investigation.

Mr Sriramulu, while taking a dig at the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for accusing the BJP of insulting the Legislature, sought to know from the latter whether he had forgotten those insulting acts he had indulged in earlier, including kicking a door in the Assembly. Mr. Sriramulu charged both Mr. Kumaraswamy and Mr. Siddaramaiah with trying to tie down the BJP through their political conspiracy, which, he said, was not possible.
