An heated exchange between two groups over the working of a few women in a mobile shop led to physical assault in Baikampady on Monday evening.

According to Panambur police, Bharath and Pushparaj from Surathkal questioned Altaf Parkody, Ajmal Kavoor and Shamshuddin about three women working in the latter’s mobile shop. There was an heated exchange that reportedly led Bharat and Pushparaj rain blows on the other group on Monday afternoon.

The police said in the evening these three persons reportedly assaulted Bharath and Pushparaj.

Both have given complaints against each other. While Pushparaj and Bharat have been admitted to a private hospital in Surathkal, the three other persons have been admitted at the Government Wenlock Hospital.
