Campaign on terror-free India

State president of the Students Islamic Organisation (SIO), Nabeed Shafi stressed on the need for awareness to address the threat of terrorism. Talking during the valedictory function of the two-month-long State-wide awareness campaign on ‘Terror Free India’ on Friday, Mr. Shafi said the SIO has conducted lectures and screened documentaries in education institutes in 10 districts in the last two months to create awareness against terrorism and violence. He said freedom of expression did not mean hurting a particular community by making provoking speeches and derogatory remarks.
