Former Minister M.B. Patil has asserted that there will be Cabinet expansion on December 22.
Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said that several leaders from north Karnataka region have conveyed to the party high command that NK region has had a raw deal in the State Cabinet.
“In order to set right the discrimination, the Cabinet should be expanded by giving adequate representation to legislators of NK region,” he said.
He also claimed that AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao have realised this and have decided to include NK legislators in the Cabinet.
