Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said the Cabinet expansion will take place after the legislature session which is scheduled from June 5 to 16.

Interacting with media persons in Mysuru, Mr. Siddaramaiah said he will decide on inducting new Ministers and their portfolios. But, it would be premature to announce their names at this juncture.

There are three ministerial berths that are vacant.

In reply to a query, the Chief Minister said the Congress will fight the next elections under his leadership. But it was for the Legislature Party to decide who would be the Chief Minister and the choice cannot be speculated upon now,” he added.
