H. Vinod Bhat, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, has said that a book on Talat Mahmood will be released next week. “It will be released by L.K. Advani and Ameen Sayani in Mumbai,” Prof. Bhat said here recently.
He was speaking at the release of “Legends of Travancore - A Numismatic Heritage”, authored by Joseph Thomas, an urologist in Kasturba Medical College. It was released by M.S. Valiathan, National Research Professor.
Prof. Bhat said that the press publications catered attracted readers from the academic field and the general public.
It had published books dealing with philosophy, health and life sciences, archaeology, geopolitics, literature, ornithology, astronomy, biographies, mathematics, architecture, pharmaceutical sciences, music and popular sciences and now it had also ventured into numismatics.
