The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appointed former two-time MLA from Belagavi, Abhay Patil as Saha Pramukh of Karnataka’s ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyaan’, a nation-wide drive to connect the newly enrolled 10 crore party workers in the country.
Informing this here on Tuesday, Mr. Patil said the party had entrusted him with the responsibility to effectively carry on the objectives of the campaign in the districts of North Karnataka viz. Bagalkot, Belagavi, Dharwad-Hubballi, Gadag, Haveri and Vijayapura.
He said the party had launched the campaign to connect its workers and enlighten them about the party’s ideology and functioning of the BJP-NDA Government at the centre. The IT Cell of the party was working on developing digital literature which would be regularly forwarded to the party workers’ on their mobile phones.
Also, the workers would be informed about achievements and various development measures initiated by the Government at the centre and other states where the party was in power. Thus, the party has taken effective measures to strengthen the bridge between the organisation and its workers, which would go a long way to achieve various objectives of the party, he added.
