Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, T.B. Jayachandra alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is misusing Rajbhavan to meet their political ends in connection with alleged denotification of land acquired for the Arkavathi Layout by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Mr. Jayachandra said that let the BJP go to the judicial commission which is conducting an inquiry into the issue and present the documents regarding the case to the judge instead of making allegations outside the court and going to the Governor.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister, B.S. Yeddyurappa retorted that Congress party is expert in misusing the Rajbhavan.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Mr. Yeddyurappa alleged that people of the nation know how the Congress has misused the Governor’s office in the past in the states.
He said that BJP has all the documents in connection with the Arkavathi denotification issue which clearly shows that Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah has misused his power and hence BJP has approached the Governor to seek permission to prosecute the Chief Minister for his alleged involvement in the issue.
