BJP confident of sharing power in J&K

January 11, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - KALABURAGI:

BJP vice-president B.S. Yeddyurappa has said that the party was confident to be part of the government formation process in Jammu and Kashmir and the promulgation of President’s rule in the State should not dampen the hopes of workers.

Party's stand

Addressing party workers here on Saturday, he said that nobody should have any doubts about the BJP sharing power in Jammu and Kashmir. Mr. Yeddyurappa, who began his tour of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region to kickstart the membership drive of the party, said party workers should highlight the failures of the State government and take up the problems of the people.

Bus fares

He said that the reduction in bus fares announced by the State government was negligible and did not commensurate with the reduction in the diesel prices.
