Applications have been invited from eligible candidates to work as research scholars for a University Grants Commission-funded project titled “Identification and biochemical characterisation of Organophosphorus pesticide-tolerant strains of Trichogramma from paddy fields” at the Department of Biochemistry of Kuvempu University. A monthly stipend of Rs. 14,000 would be paid to selected candidate. Postgraduates in Biochemistry and Biological Sciences, with 55 per cent marks, can apply.The application, bio-data and photo copies of requisite documents, should be sent to P. Niranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, 577451 on or before February 24.
