Airtel launches 4G services

Bharti Airtel has launched 4G services in Mysuru. Speaking at the launch, C. Surendran, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)-Karnataka of Bharti Airtel, said customers can now enjoy advanced Internet experience.

Mysuru became the third city in Karnataka — after Bengaluru and Mangaluru — to have 4G facility, he said and added that the telecom towers in the city too had been made 4G compatible. Airtel customers across Mysuru can now get complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at 3G prices. This will enable superfast speeds and allow customers to enjoy capabilities such as high definition video streaming with zero buffering and downloading movies.
