Activists protest for acceptance of Sadashiva Commission Report

The activists of Madiga Dandora Madiga Reservation Horata Samiti staged a protest demonstration in front of Mahatma Gandhi stadium here on Monday demanding the State government to accept Justice A.J. Sadashiva Commission report and recommend it to Union government to implement it.

Addressing the agitators, state working president of Samiti, Bootharajappa demanded the State government to implement the recommendations of retired Justice, A.J. Sadashiva’s report on internal reservation if the government fails to do so they are ready to lay down their lives.

He said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, when he was the Leader of Opposition, had promised to implement the report after coming to power but until this day the State government has not initiated any measures to implement and send it to the Union government for approval.

He demanded Siddaramaiah to keep up his promise by implementing the recommendations of the report.

District president of the Samiti, Beeranakallu Kantaraju and others were present.
