Amit Phabba of Sharanabasaveshwar Composite Pre-University College, Kalaburagi, has secured the 81st rank in the medical stream and the 10th rank in the engineering stream in the Common Entrance Test (CET).
Mr. Phabba secured the third rank in B.Sc Agriculture in the State.
As many as six students were ranked between 200 and 500 in medicine and eight were ranked between 200 and 500 in engineering.
Eleven students were ranked between 500 and 1,000 and 12 between 1,000 and 2,000 in medicine.
Seven students were ranked between 500 and 1,000 in engineering, and 11 were ranked from 1,000 to 2,000 in engineering.
Poojya Sharanbaswappa Appa, president of Sharanbasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangh, congratulated students on their performance.
Meanwhile Adarsh V.Honnalli of Chandrakant Patil Pre-University College secured 707 th rank in the medical stream and 695 th rank in the engineering stream.
