Henceforth, it will be easier to bring grievances related to bus services of the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) to notice. Hereafter, the public can post their grievances on the NWKRTC WhatsApp group on 7760991687.

As part of its consumer’s grievances redressal programme, the NWKRTC has taken steps to use WhatsApp to reach out customers. Minister in-charge of the district Vinay Kulkarni launched the new WhatsApp group at the Transport Adalat held at NWKRTC auditorium here on Monday.

NWKRTC chairman Sadanand Danganavar said with the launching of the WhatsApp group, the NWKRTC had gone another step ahead to reach out to customers. All these years, NWKRTC was providing facilities such as complaint boxes and online fora to file complaints. However, WhatsApp would be the better and easier social medium to facilitate interaction between the NWKRTC and the people. On one hand it would help the public bring their grievances to us in an easy, quick manner. On the other, it will help us to take note of the issues and initiate corrective measures as fast as possible, he said.

Mr. Danganavar appealed the public to use the group to file bus service-related issues and not for other reasons. NWKRTC managing director Vinoth Priya, Navalgund MLA N. H. Konaraddi and others were present at the programme.
