Three nabbed for selling LPG in black market

City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths nabbed a three-member gang for alleged involvement in selling LPG cylinders, meant for domestic use, to commercial establishments in the black market and cylinders worth Rs. five lakh was recovered from them during a raid in a shed, police said on Thursday.

The trio, Mohammad Ahmed (26), Arogya Swamy (23) and Joseph (31), were arrested during a raid on the shed in electronic city and 74 cylinders worth Rs. five lakh, an electric motor and some related equipment seized from them on Wednesday.

The fourth member of the gang, Sikander was absconding and efforts are on to nab him.
