Your dreams of flying in a fighter jet could come true during the Aero India show in February with a once-in-a-life opportunity to fly the Swedish multi-role fighter aircraft, JAS 39 Gripen.

The Gripen Top Guns contest has an amateur and a professional level challenge to test the knowledge of aircraft buffs and the skill of computer gamers, a press release said.
Aircraft simulator
The game entries will be judged by top Swedish and Indian pilots to select those who get fly the Gripen aircraft simulator. Out of the five chosen simulator ‘pilots', one will get to fly on the real thing, the JAS 39 Gripen.
Three Gripen aircraft will fly into Bangalore for Aero India between February 9 and February 13.
Apart from the grand prize of flying the aircraft, Top Guns contest also has other goodies, including Gripen fighter pilot flying suits, aviator glasses, calendars signed by Swedish test pilots as well as Gripen collectibles such as key tags, badges, stickers and pens.
Aerobatic team
The Flying Bulls, Czech Republic's aerobatic flying unit, will also participate in the Aero India show. The team currently flies four Zlin 50LX aircraft, manufactured by the Moravan aircraft factory in Otrokovice, Czech Republic. The factory has been active in aviation manufacturing since 1934, the release said.
