Infosys Technologies has said that the latest Forrester report has named the firm a “Leader” in The Forrester Wave: Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing for the first quarter of 2011, as well as recognised it for offering “strong consulting-led infrastructure transformation”.

The report, a press release said, has given the company high scores for customer value proposition and vision, innovation and continuous improvement, operations and strategy consulting, planned enhancements and investments to support strategy ecosystem participation and global client geographic distribution.

Large storage

Buffalo Technology, a leading firm involved in design, development and manufacturing of wired and wireless networking and storage solutions, unveiled their Drive Station Duo here this week. Built in with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces, it's best suited for home as well as smaller working environments that require large data storage, a press release from the firm stated. “With data transfer speed 10 times faster as compared with USB 2.0, this unit is a two bay RAID-enabled drive,” said Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head.
