A 13-year-old eighth standard student of B.K. Model School, Prashant, son of Raju Hulmani, died suddenly on Wednesday evening.
Prashant, who was playing with his friends after school hours, reportedly collapsed on the ground. A few teachers, who were around, immediately shifted him to the Cantonment General Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A hospital official told The Hindu that there were no external injuries on the body. However, the body was taken to the District Government Hospital for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of the death.
The Camp Police have registered a case. Investigation is on.
