Photo shoot: police quiz retired IAS officer’s son

June 17, 2016 12:00 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:07 pm IST - MYSURU:

The city police on Thursday evening quizzed Aditya, who figured in the Mysuru palace photo shoot.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) H.T. Shekar, who is also the Inquiry Officer, told The Hindu that a report on the controversial photo shoot is likely to be submitted in a day or two. The police recently interrogated the photographer Venkata Ramana, who operates Photoriya, a private photography company, who had shot photographs and videos of Aditya, the son of a retired IAS officer, and his fiancée on the palace premises in gross violation of the rules.

Though the police refused to divulge the details of the statements given by Venkata Ramana and Aditya, Mr. Shekar sought to clarify that statements attributed to them appearing in a section of the press were far from the truth.
