Youth for archaeology

Mr. Goel offered help to NRIs and PIOs who are interested in starting social projects in the country. In his keynote address at the inaugural of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, he said that many have been evincing interest in doing something in the rural areas across the country, and that his Ministry would offer all possible help to such ventures. Pointing out at more than 1,000 archaeological sites that can be developed, Mr. Goel said that the NRIs and PIOs should come forward in adopting those monuments for better conservation. “This would also attract tourists in big numbers,” he added.
