Mr. Lad consoled Thimmappa Yadav’s mother, his pregnant wife and children besides giving them Rs. 50,000 in cash, being his personal contribution, besides directing Deputy Commissioner Ramprasath Manohar to arrange for payment of the compensation amount of ₹ 5 lakh.

To a request from the relatives of Thimmappa Yadav to sanction a house under Ashraya scheme to the family, Mr. Lad asked Mr. Ramprasath to look into the matter.

He also appealed to the farmers not to resort to the extreme step and assured them of the government being with them and that it would come to their rescue.
