Jammu & Kashmir L-G gets two advisors

The retired IPS officer Farooq Khan and the retired IAS officer K.K. Sharma have been appointed as advisors to Girish Chandra Murmu, Lieutenant-Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to an order of the Union Home Ministry, the appointments will take effect from the day of their taking up the posts. They will assist L-G Girish Chandra Murmu in the administrative work.


Both had served as advisors to Satya Pal Malik, Governor of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
