Jawan kills two colleagues, self in Dharamshala

In a case of fratricide, a jawan posted with 18 Sikh regiment at Dharamshala shot to death two of his colleagues and then himself in the early hours on Monday.

“The incident occured at 02:30 in the morning. The jawan used his service weapon to shoot two of his colleagues before turning the weapon on himself,” one Army officer said.

The jawan had been with the unit for six months.

A Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
