December 14, 2015 01:50 am | Updated November 17, 2021 01:01 am IST - KALABURAGI:

Leader of the Congress Party in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday charged the Finance Minister Arun Jaitely of intimidating the Congress leaders by indicating that it was the turn of the Enforcement Directorate to look into the tax issues on the National Herald issue.

“We are not unduly perturbed by such veiled threats …we will face all this and come out unscathed,” Mr. Kharge said.Mr. Kharge told The Hindu that the BJP was making false propaganda that the Congress was blocking the functioning of the Parliament on the National Herald issue and clarified that the party MPs did not even utter a single word about the National Herald issue when they raised the policy of hate and vengeful politics pursued by the NDA government.
