ICSE, ISC exam results out

The Council For the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on Monday released the results for the ICSE and the ISC board examinations on Monday.

Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive and Secretary of the CISCE, said 1,83,387 students appeared in the ICSE exam this year and the pass percentage was 98.51%, while 80,880 students appeared in the ISC examination, and the pass percentage was 96.21%.

He added that there was no moderation in marks this year.

Swayam Das from St. Mary’s ICSE School, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, topped the country in the ICSE exam with an aggregate of 99.4%.

In the ISC examination, seven students with an aggregate of 99.50% topped the country. The students are Abhijnan Chakraborty from Smt. Lilavatibai Podar High School, Mumbai, Radhika Chandra and Saman Waheed from City Montessori School, Lucknow, Sakshi Pradyumn from City Montessori School, Kanpur, Lipika Agarwal from Lucknow Public School, Koushiki Dashupta Chaudhuri from St. Xaviers Institution, Panihati, and Tansa Kartik Shah from The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai.

In the ICSE examination, the southern region had the best pass percentage of 99.69% followed by the western region with 99.67% . In the ISC examination, too, the southern region had the best pass percentage of 98.38%, followed by the western region with 97.22% .
