Government to collect citizens’ feedback on Digital India

In a bid to gauge the impact of Digital India programme, the government will launch a campaign to collect the feedback from citizens about their experience of using government websites and mobile applications.

The Centre will send 100 crore requests for feedback through its websites and mobile applications, a senior official of the Information Technology Ministry said.

The government runs 100 websites and over 60 mobile applications, offering 2,500 services.

“This is being done to improve the citizens’ experience... The feedback will be plugged through all points of the e-presence of the government’s digital products...,” the official added.
