The Election Commission on Friday conducted a preliminary examination of Congress vice-president >Rahul Gandhi’s reply to its October 31 notice on violation of the model code of conduct.
Chief Election Commissioner V.S. Sampath told journalists that a decision would be taken soon.
Mr. Gandhi was given time till Friday 11 a.m. to send his reply.
