Cinema showing Delhi Belly attacked

Members of a pro-Hindutva organisation on Monday ransacked a cinema hall here and tried to stop the screening of Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly over the alleged use of expletives in the movie.

Twenty members of Jago Hind Sangathan were arrested for the attack on Anoop Talkies in the MIG area, police said.

The organisation alleges that the film's dialogues are “vulgar” and “set a bad example” for the youth.

Chairs, glass doors and posters at the cinema were damaged.

Earlier, the organisation protested against the film in front of a multiplex in the city and torched posters, warning of violence if screenings were not stopped.
