CBI registers case against Lalu Prasad Yadav over hotel tender irregularity

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted raids and registered a case against RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav over alleged irregularities in awarding tender for development, maintenance and operation of hotels at Ranchi and Puri to a private company dealing while he was the Union Railway Minister.

The case has also been registered against Mr. Lalu's son and wife. Raids were conducted at 12 locations across the country, including Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Puri and Gurgaon.
