BSF jawan washed away in flash-flood

A BSF jawan was washed away in a flash flood on Wednesday and his body was later recovered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

Jagdish Singh, a jawan of the 112 battalion of BSF, was washed away after the water level in a nallah suddenly shot up in Biela area of Mandi on Wednesday morning, BSF officers said.

The jawan’s body was sent to his native village in Rajasthan, they said.
