YSRCP moves No-Confidence motion against Naidu Govt.

March 14, 2016 12:38 pm | Updated 12:38 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Monday granted permission to the main Opposition YSR Congress Party to move a No-Confidence Motion in the Council of Ministers headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The time and date for taking up the discussion on the no-confidence motion will be fixed at Business Advisory Committee meeting later on Monday. Some TDP leaders, however, expect the discussion to be taken up on Monday itself.

Soon after Zero Hour, the Speaker granted leave to move the motion to YSRC Party Deputy Floor Leader Jyothula Nehru as those favouring it were more than the required strength of 18 members.
