The YSRC and Telugu Desam Party cadre fought it out between themselves by hurling stones at each other on Friday morning in Anantapur. The TDP leaders, Penukonda MLA B.K.Parthasarathy and Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunita took out a rally in the town with an impressive number of cadres against the Union Cabinet decision to bifurcate the State.

During the protest rally, some TDP cadre were learnt to have resorted to tearing away of posters portraying Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy and the Anantapur MLA B. Gurunath Reddy, which angered the YSRC cadre, who were at the 36 hunger strike camps set up by Mr Reddy.

Agitated at the tearing of posters, the YSRC cadres picked up a fight with their TDP counterparts leading both jostling with each other and eventually both the group ended in pelting stones at each other.

At this juncture, the police rushed to the spot and started to disperse the angry cadre, who receded after a considerable pacifying acts by the police.
