World Telugu Poetry Festival begins

Poets K. Siva Reddy and Addepalli Rama Mohana Rao inaugurated the ‘World Telugu Poetry Festival’ at the TTD guesthouse here on Saturday. The festival will continue for 30 hours 30 minutes and 30 seconds.

The festival was providing a platform to all the Telugu poets to recite their poetry on any non-controversial issue. In all about 1,600 poets were taking part in the grand event.

Members of various literary organisations, including Sahithi Sravanthi of Kakinada and Khammam, Sahithi Mitrulu of Vijayawada, Kaikaluru and Bhimavaram, Sri Padminipura Kala Peetham, Ganapavaram, Telugu Sahithi Samakhya, Tadepalligudem, Nellore District Writers Association, Nellore, Monday Mosaic, Visakhapatnam, Kavisangamam and Jabilli, Hyderabad, were participating in the festival.
