Work pertaining to the summer storage tank and the indoor stadium are moving at a fast pace in Pulivendula constituency of Kadapa district.

Collector Ch. Hari Kiran, who visited the constituency on Thursday, inspected the works in progress and directed the officials to expedite them. He expressed displeasure over the poorly-planned entry point and the approach road, and directed the municipal authorities and District Sports Officer Basha Mohiddeen to prepare estimates for building a compound wall.

He later inspected the summer storage tank coming up at Nakkapalle in Simhadripuram mandal, NTR Housing Colony in Kambapalle and wanted it to be developed as a model colony of 41 houses with drains and individual latrines. At the ‘Waste to wealth’ centre, which produces and distributes manure, he queried if ‘green ambassadors’ had been appointed to take the message.

Market yard chairman T. Raghava Reddy and TDP training in-charge (Rayalaseema) B.Ramgopal Reddy accompanied him.
