Welcome initiative

October 12, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:56 am IST

Volunteers of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation worked hard to provide relief in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam when the districts were badly hit by cyclone Hudhud last October.

Hundreds of volunteers and organisation members took part in the relief operations that included distribution of clothes, blankets, mats, utility items, groceries and edible products.

The initiative was supported by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust members, state president of the organisation S.G. Chalam, and national vice-president N. Ramani among others.
