Congested place

The Vemulawada temple town, which attracts pilgrims from various parts of the country, is congested with narrow roads and bylanes and also encroachments by the vendors leading to the temple shrine from the main entrance.

Road widening

All these major works would be entrusted to the Roads and Buildings Department.

Junctions

The improvements of junctions would be taken up at Nampalli village, Nampally temple junction, Jagtial bus stand junction, Vemulawada-Korutla road junction and Shathrajpalli junction.

Landscapes

The authorities said that the junctions would be ideally developed with beautiful landscapes, fountains and traffic signals.

Philanthropists

The authorities are also contemplating to rope in the support of philanthropists for the development of traffic junctions at the temple shrine and also involve them in the tree plantation in and around the shrine.

Sources said that they had already submitted proposals for the development of the temple shrine to the State government.

We will take up the works as soon as the government clears the file and allocates the budget, the sources added.
