A daily wage earner Chintakunta Elisamma (40) was killed on the spot and another worker Kooraku Narendra (20) succumbed to injuries when an autorickshaw carrying labourers collided with lorry near Ekopally in Duvvur mandal in Kadapa district on Wednesday. The labourers were going from Kothapalle to Chagalamarri in Kurnool district. Narendra, who was severely injured, succumbed to injuries at the Proddatur government hospital. Three other injured workers were rushed to Kurnool General Hospital. Police registered a case.
