A non-resident Indian devotee has contributed Rs. 10 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, board that manages the famed Venkateswara temple in Tirumala.

The single major donation was handed over the TTD by Ravi Aika, an entrepreneur engaged in pharmaceutical business and settled in the United States.

TTD Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadhav received the donation on Saturday in the presence of the Andhra Pradesh Minister Amarnatha Reddy.

Likewise another NRI devotee Srinivasa, also from the U.S. donated Rs. 3.50 crore to various trusts being floated by the TTD.  Mr. Reddy appreciated both Mr. Aika and Mr. Srinivas for their charitable gesture.
