Two men from Tirupati abducted, robbed in Bengaluru

Two unemployed men from Tirupati, who had come to Bengaluru in search of jobs, were abducted and robbed by a gang of four in Peenya in the early hours of Tuesday.

The victims, Suresh Reddy and his friend Bhanu Prakash, had alighted from a bus at 8th Main in Peenya and were walking towards a friend’s house in Bagalagunte area around 1.30 a.m. when four men in a car offered to drop them at their destination. As soon the men got into the car, three men inside the car pounced on them and started beating them while the fourth drove the car towards the toll gate.

The trio robbed the men of Rs. 500 and two mobile phones before pushing them out of the car. The police have taken up a case of robbery and are looking out for the culprits.
