TTD to go for caution deposit system

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has resolved to introduce a caution deposit system for online booking of its cottages and guesthouses at Tirumala.

TTD Additional Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy on Tuesday said that the system will come into force from January 2020.

Mr. Dharma Reddy, expressed his satisfaction over the increase in cashless transactions in the reception department.

While the cottage allotment counter at MBC has registered 100% use of swiping machines, the Padmavati guesthouse registered 97% cashless transactions followed by the TB counter (91%) and Sapthagiri choultries (62%).
