The TTD is contemplating to introduce e-software in all its departments to usher in more transparency and effectiveness in the system besides handling all the departmental files in electronic format.

All the files shall be digitised and circulated at various levels up to the Executive Officer. The initiative will also provide the impetus for a paperless administration in the religious institution.

Briefing the media after presiding over a high-level meeting with the heads of various departments, TTD JEO K.S. Srinivasa Raju on Tuesday said that the concept will be introduced in a phased manner in all the departments at Tirumala by March 31.

In the first phase the meeting has resolved to introduce the concept in top five of its departments, including the temple, Nitya Annadanam, Health, Superintending Engineer’s office in addition to procurement and warehousing which will be completed by the end of November.

The meeting also resolved to strictly follow the procedures involved in the procurement of the CCTV Cameras, display units and computers required in the strengthening of the security atop the hill town. The purchase of 250 CCTV Cameras planned to be set-up inside the hill temple will be made in a span of another 40 days.

Srivari Seva slots

The newly-introduced three and four-day slots in the voluntary Srivari Seva scheme will come into operation from November 2. The decision in reduction of the days has been done with an intention to encourage more number of employees, particularly the youth, to participate in the novel service scheme. While the three-day slot has been made available from Friday to Sunday to the volunteers aged between 25 and 40 years with a minimum educational qualification of tenth class the four-day slot will be implemented from Monday to Thursday and those aged between 18 and 60 years can take part.
