TS staff seek Rs. 15,000 for minimum basic

Proposals by the Telangana employees’ organisations for implementation of 10{+t}{+h}PRC’s recommendations will be submitted to the high power committee constituted by the government on PRC implementation, on January 17. As per the Employees’ JACs Steering Committee’s deliberations on Tuesday, the demand would be for implementation of monetary benefit with retrospective effect from July 1, 2013. Also, the unions are said to be keen on having the fitment fixed at a ratio closer to the State government employees’ expectations. Employees are demanding 69 per cent fitment, TNGO president and chairman of the JAC Devi Prasad informed.

A minimum basic of Rs.15,000, and resolving of anomalies in pay scales of a few categories of employees such as Junior Assistants, Superintendents and Veterinary Surgeons, also will be proposed to the committee.
