The book, published by Indra Publishing House, discusses topics relating to everyday life, health management and lifestyle and has hilarious anecdotes.
Mr. Kumar has penned as many as 15 books, including Order and Policing by Common Sense , Application of Psychological Principles in Maintenance of Law and Order and The Summer of 2003 .
Telugu works
The officer is also a prolific writer in Telugu. Some of his books have been translated into Hindi and Russian, too.
In To be or Not to be Happy the author, through simple narrative, provides answers to questions on life, happiness and wellness.
In the last chapter, ‘What is the Formula for Happiness?’, Mr. Kumar proposes his own formula ie., “Happiness is directly proportional to health but inversely proportional to desires; happiness is directly proportional to will to enjoy and inversely proportional to attachments. Your joy lives within you.”
Mr. Kumar was on a private visit to the city on Friday.
